Live blackjack at Microgaming – comes with features!

It took us a while to get there (the number on the clapper board tells the tale) but the good news to report is that Microgaming’s live blackjack review unearthed some rather nice surprises.

It looks like it’s now running 24/7 at participating casinos, including Canbet and Royal Vegas and while the look of the game interface may not necessarily set your heart racing, after having a good poke around we found some pretty cool features that set it apart from the competition.

It’s like the developers over at M’gming have made a conscious choice not to go toe to toe with the likes of Evolution Gaming and Playtech (Euro) on a purely aesthetic level, but rather eclipse them on the functionality front.

Our complete game review is here but in a nutshell, here’s what you won’t get: dealer chat, graphics that’ll blow your mind, a casino-replicating video backdrop.

Now here’s what you will:

– the ability to bet behind seated players if tables are full, or if you simply choose you’d rather play that way.

– the ability to play your blackjack game and at the same time play another blackjack table and/or roulette table and/or baccarat table .  That’s right – multiple and simultaneous game play is offered (live dealer casino first).

– via Playcheck, the ability to view your bet history, not just for that game session, but for any period you choose since you first joined the casino!

– the ability to detach, enlarge, refresh your video stream.  OK so this isn’t exactly pioneering functionality, but it’s something.

And the other big tick this game gets is the fact that it is streamed from an eCogra certified dealer studio – of which there are only 2 (guess who runs the other one? – or just click here to find out).
