Ladbrokes have just launched live dealer games from Playtech.
No surprise here…ever since the two companies announced they were partnering up back in March, it was just a matter of time before Playtech’s popular live dealers became a part of the Ladbrokes casino game suite.
This means, as of this moment there are now 2 live casinos to choose from at Laddies’ website…
- the Evolution Gaming powered games, located under the Live Casino tab (complete with private room, tablet play capability and big limits); and
- the new Playtech powered games, located under the Vegas tab (recognise the studio pics bottom right?)
If you’re thinking this setup sounds kind of familiar, you’d be right.
There was another well known UK brand who not long ago offered both Playtech and Evolution Gaming live dealers at their website…one named Live Casino and the other named Vegas Live Casino.
That brand was William Hill, and in their case the Playtech games were in the Live Casino and the Evolution games were in the Vegas Live Casino. Both platforms are still offered there, but now the Evolution games are front and go by the name William Hill Live Casino while the Playtech games are hidden somewhat. Indeed players at William Hill have been reporting table availability on the Playtech floor dwindling, while the Evolution offering continues to go from strength to strength (biggest private room, tablet play, VIP hosts on the floor, biggest live limits available for certain games).
You could say Laddies new setup is almost the mirror image of how William Hill had things.
Not a bad strategy really…given it worked very well for William Hill until their relationship with Playtech became untenable.
