Sorry Chelsea I thought you were a chat-bot

I have playing accounts at all of the Imperial E-Club casinos (Titan, Europa, Tropez, Vegas Red) and play them every so often. Their live games are Playtech powered so they get a big tick there.

However, an issue that I have always had with these casinos is this; the instant you log-in a live chat window pops up and the operator on the other end begins to bombard you with casino promotional offers and enticements to make another deposit.  Aside from being totally non-responsive to any hard sell, I have actually assumed until now that the ‘operator’ on the other end of the live chat session is a bot and NOT a real person and have ignored the window accordingly.

Why did I always think the operator wasn’t human?

Well they pretty much have a disjointed conversation with themselves, regurgitating bonus deals.  Here’s how one of these chat sessions began during a recent visit to Titan

See what I mean? A human would have stopped talking after getting no response to the question,  How are you doing today? .

As per usual I totally ignored the chat window and (robot) Chelsea and loaded a game of live blackjack.

No video.

OK, I’ll give baccarat a go.

Again no video.

My connection was pretty sub-par so I figured that was the problem but just wanted to check with support that it wasn’t something else.  I mused at the possibility of  robot Chelsea actually responding to a query and thought what the hell, she’s still there having a conversation with herself so can’t hurt to ask.

So I did.

Chelsea: I’m not a bot.
Chelsea: Robot can’t answer that kind of question pattern.

So the moral of the story is when you’re playing at Titan live casino, Europa live casino or Casino Tropez live and the live chat window pops up and starts talking to you,

  • continue to ignore it and go about doing your thing; BUT
  • be aware that there is a real person there ready to help immediately in the event you have an issue.

Oh and Chelsea, I am sincerely sorry for thinking you were a robot.
