Big growth in 2015 for Playtech

Playtech presented their 2015 full year results today. As for live games rival Evolution Gaming (who reported record results recently), it was a big year.

Bit harder to get a feel for how Playtech’s live dealer games performed as they’re only one of a number of verticals they operate in. Indeed the only mention of anything live dealer in the whole presentation was the introduction during the year of Prestige Roulette.

Total revenue was up 38% on 2014 (€457 million to €630 million), EBITDA up 22% (€207 million to €252 million). Casino games which count for about half of total revenue, were up 26% (€248 million to €312 million). This number was segmented no doubt the majority is from RNG including their popular slots and progressives.

One cool thing included in the presentation was a nice graphic illustrating current and potential regulated online casino markets across Europe.
