LaPartage Roulette from Extreme Live

Extreme Live Gaming have just opened a new roulette table they are calling La Partage Roulette.

It’s not a new type of roulette, nor is it another one of their many themed tables. It’s simply a French Roulette table.

The name La Partage comes from the fact that the La Partage rule does in fact apply on this table (as it does on most French tables).

For those not familiar, according to the rule of La Partage, you lose only half of your bet, not all of it, if you place an even money bet (red/black, even/odd, 1-18/19-36) and the ball lands on zero.

This has a big impact on your outside bet returns.

For example, if you are placing red/black bets on a table where LaPartage does not apply, the mathematical return to player rate is 97.30%. Where La Partage applies, RTP for red/black bets climbs to 98.65%!

Still a house edge of course, but much skinnier.

Leo Vegas are now carrying this table. Other casinos offering Extreme’s tables (Betvictor, Betsson etc) will no doubt add it in due course.

Perhaps also worth noting all Evolution Gaming and Playtech French roulette tables apply the LaPartage rule also.
