Stakelogic is one of the new kids on the live dealer block.
They only launched their games in April this year. Checking the pace of developments since then, it’s clear they’re in quite a hurry to establish a large foothold in the live dealer space. Here’s a summary of their brief but busy (live games) history.
- Secure Malta Gaming Authority provider license in March 2022.
- Launch first suite of tables, live streamed from studios based in Birkirkara Malta and Eindhoven in the Netherlands in April 2022.
- Add VIP tables in April 2022.
- Granted Michigan Gaming Control Board provisional license (to offer slots, video slots…but you see where this is going) June 2022.
- Release their first game show, Super Stake Roulette July 2022.
- Sign Unibet July 2022.
- Launch dedicated Unibet tables August 2022.
- Granted UK Gaming Commission provider license August 2022.
Fast out of the blocks hey? Kind of reminds us of the rapid progression of Pragmatic Play. And wouldn’t you know it, they’re related. Well, distant cousins anyway.
Who are Stakelogic?
The connection is via gambling industry behemoth Novomatic.
Stakelogic was conceived by Novomatic subsidiary and online casino software developer Greentube. Greentube offloaded Stakelogic to a Netherlands based private investor in 2018 – the same year Novomatic offloaded Extreme Live Gaming to Pragmatic Play.
You could say the Novomatic group are in the habit of seeding successful live casino providers.
It is perhaps a little early to proclaim Stakelogic a live dealer success. They are still predominantly an online slots developer. But taking a quick look at their live games, they certainly seem to be on the right track.
Stakelogic live games (Malta studio)
At time of writing their game range was limited to live blackjack (quite a few tables), live roulette and the game show Super Stake Roulette.
The decision to jump straight to game shows before mainstays baccarat and poker no doubt a result of having the benefit of knowing just how popular these games are with the punters.
The tables look sharp. This is Cool Grey Blackjack (yep, they name rather than number). They also look pretty familiar. The blueprint for successful presentation of live dealer games is now well established and Stakelogic aren’t the first to follow it (yes, talking about you Pragmatic Play).
Opal Blackjack is one of of the VIP tables. Very well presented again.
When the hit/stand decision prompt pops up, as below on Prestige Blackjack, you’re reminded of how close the blueprint was followed.
Here’s the European Roulette table.
Then there’s Super Stake Roulette. It comes with random multipliers which are old hat now. Plus a little Stakelogic addition – Gold Numbers (zero came up Gold below), which if hit trigger a Big Money Wheel spin for the chance at landing on the 5000x payout wedge.
More on Super Stake Roulette, and indeed their live blackjack and roulette tables in future posts.
