eWalletXpress closed to US players

…not right now it’s not.

eWalletXpress had become a popular online gambling deposit option for US players who have been unable to use credit cards or the larger online  payment services like PayPal and NeTeller to fund their playing accounts. It was adopted as a secure payment option by many US facing online gambling operators, including a couple of live casinos for US players.

About a week ago word started to filter through some popular gambling forums that players were unable to fund playing accounts or access their eWalletXpress accounts.  The company response to these issues has been (and to date remains) that they are experiencing ‘technical difficulties’.

There is now very strong mail suggesting that these ‘technical difficulties’ are more than an IT glitch; rather US authorities have served a warrant on the Canadian based company and frozen their funds. If and when players will be able to get their money back is not known.

But it seems likely, in the near term at least, that eWalletXpress will have to close their doors to American players just as NeTeller were forced to do a couple of years ago.

      Hi danielle

I’d rather the US government passes HR2267, implements a rigorous regulatory regime and US players get access to all the payment methods players from other parts of the world enjoy…credit cards, PayPal, NeTeller etc etc

      thanks for dropping by
