Gates of Olympus Roulette Live by Pragmatic Play

This is Gates of Olympus Roulette, Pragmatic Play’s first roulette based game show release for 2026.
Gates of Olympus Roulette is powered by a standard European Roulette wheel and comes with random payout multipliers as well as the chance to play a bonus game paying up to 10,000× your Straight Up bet amount.
The title Gates of Olympus derives from Pragmatic’s video slot of the same name, which drives the bonus round. Befitting the title, the game is Greek mythology themed, reminiscent of Playtech’s Age of Gods Mega Fire Blaze Roulette.

How to play Gates of Olympus Roulette
Bet selection for this game is as per a regular live roulette game. Simply place your chosen value chips on the table, or racetrack for neighbours bets.
Payouts for all bets other than Straight Up pay identically to European Roulette. Straight Up bet payouts operate a little differently, with a base payout of 20:1 (or 21×), randomly multiplied payout up to 2,500×, or bonus game payout up to 10,000×.
Once bets close, the presenter/croupier manually launches the ball.

Lucky Numbers and Bonus Number
Each round 2 to 7 numbers are randomly selected as Lucky Numbers and to each a multiplier is applied (50x up to 250x). These become the new payouts for a Straight Up bet win.
Also each round, a single number is chosen as the Bonus Number, triggering the bonus game should that number result. Straight Up bets on this number carry through to the bonus game which determines the final payout.
7 Lucky Numbers this round, and Bonus Number 23…

Booster Rounds
Occasionally a round will be designated as a Booster Round. On a Booster Round, a few of the Lucky Numbers are further multiplied by a booster of ×2 to ×10, upping the top possible Lucky Number multiplier to 2,500×. The Bonus Game can also be boosted.
In the example round, a ×2 has been applied, doubling the payout on some of the multipliers and the bonus game.

Bonus Game
The bonus game is a 6×5 slot based on the classic Gates of Olympus™ video slot. Winning Straight Up bets on the Bonus Number carry across and the slot spins 15 times to arrive at a final payout. Here you’re in the hands of RNG slot gods.
Where a booster is applied to the bonus game, it will be applied to the Tumble multiplier at the end of every spin. The maximum final multiplier for the bonus game is 10,000×.
Most players will be spectating. But with a 1 in 37 chance of seeing a bonus game any given round, they don’t come that often.

Winning Straight Up bet pays only 21x, without a multiplier applied
Gates of Olympus Roulette payouts and RTP by bet
The changed payout structure on Straight Up bets drop theoretical return to player (RTP) on these bets to 96.62%. The RTP for all other bets is identical to standard European Roulette.
| Bet type | Pays | RTP |
|---|---|---|
| Straight Up | 20-9999 :1 | 96.62% |
| Split bet | 17:1 | 97.30% |
| Street bet | 11:1 | 97.30% |
| Corner bet or Basket bet | 8:1 | 97.30% |
| Line bet | 5:1 | 97.30% |
| Dozen bet or Column bet | 2:1 | 97.30% |

Gates of Olympus Roulette playing strategy
From the above, if you’re entirely return focused you would avoid the Straight Up bets. But then you may as well play a standard live roulette game that won’t be interrupted by bonus games. Let’s face it, if you’re playing Gates of Olympus Roulette you’re likely doing so for a crack at a big bonus game or multiplied payout.
With this in mind, sound playing strategy is a function of bet limits and payout caps applying to Straight Up bets, which are as follows:
- Straight Up bet limits: 0.1 to 250 (€, $ or £ depending on location)
- Straight Up bet max payout: 10,000×
- Straight Up bet payout cap: 250,000 (€, $ or £ depending on location)
With payouts capped at 250,000, any Straight Up bet over 25 could potentially be affected by the cap, reducing RTP for these bets.
