New York Post: Congress may OK online gambling
I’ve given up on trying to read the signs and predict where US lawmakers are headed with online gambling policy. The last time I thought regulation at a federal level was starting to look like a real possibility along came Black Friday so I figure I’ll leave the predicting to others!
Today the New York Post has had a crack it at in an article titled “Congress may OK online gambling“.
Granted the ‘may’ in the headline doesn’t sound overly definitive but they do claim to have some good mail from those in the know that regulated net-gaming is on the cards. This is what one of their sources had to say:
“I think there is becoming a feeling in Congress that this is something that needs to be regulated and be done,” a source close to the discussions said. “I believe there is a possibility a bill will pass towards the end of the year.”
Have a read and see what you think.
