Win breast implants – no joke

No this isn’t a joke…it’s a legitimate casino promotion.  From now until the end of July at Celtic Casino, every €100 deposited and played though at least 5 times gets you a ticket in a draw to win breast augmentation surgery performed by a board certified and experienced cosmetic surgeon in Costa Rica.

You can opt for a cash payout of €1000 if you don’t want the surgery…which I suspect will be the likely outcome. After all, the majority of players at live casinos are blokes, and there aren’t too many men I know of who would want a set of breast implants.  I can’t say none however.

Ever heard of the name Brian Zembic? He’s also known as the man with $100,000 breasts.

Brian was a high stakes blackjack player who bet a friend that he would get a boob job (c-cup minimum) and keep his new boobies for at least a year…at which point he’d get a $100,000 payout.  His friend probably thought his $100,000 was pretty safe, and for a few months after making the bet it looked like it would be as Brian wasn’t making any concerted efforts to find a surgeon willing to do the job.

But in 1996 after blowing some dough on stock market, Brian went ahead and had the work done…a perky pair of 38C’s courtesy of a fellow gambler and surgeon who did the work in lieu of Brian waving some outstanding gambling debts owed.

Brian collected on his $100,000 after 12 months, but having grown fond of his boobs decided to keep them.  I couldn’t find any recent and reliable reports on whether he still has them today, but according to his Wiki page he was still packin’ as in 2006.  Lets face it, if he was happy with them for at least a decade then it’s probably safe to say that barring some kind of medical emergency he’d still have them today.

SO, for any Brian Zembic types out there – this is the promotion for you!

Here’s another interesting fact relevant to this promotion. According to Business Week and International Living Costa Rica has become one of the top 5 medical tourism destinations for Americans. Apparently San Jose is now home to hundreds of board-certified doctors, surgeons and dentists working with infrastructure costs that allow for procedures to be performed at a fraction of the price that would be charged within the US.

So it seems you (and your boobs) will be in good hands.

Still, I think I’ll be opting for the €1000 if my ticket comes up.
