Smart Live Blackjack: 6 to 8 decks

Seems all the live game providers are getting all their decks in a row…and 8 is the shoe size of choice for live blackjack.

Microgaming’s blackjack shoe recently grew from 5 to 8 decks. Smart Live Casino have now also chosen to go with 8 decks (from 6).

Thanks (again) to forum member bvlgaris for bringing this to our attention.

An additional note on the Smart Live policy change. Don’t be mislead by the blackjack house rules published on their website, and copied below which state that the deal is from six decks.

 

These are incorrect it seems, and yet to be updated to reflect the change to 8 decks.

Below is the transcript from a chat session confirming (I think) that they are now going with 8 decks and the house rules are still to be updated accordingly.
