Roulette, Blackjack or Game Show?

Let’s say you have this game. The table is clearly marked with the words,  “BLACKJACK PAYS 3:2“. The idea of the game is to beat the dealer to 21. The dealer welcomes you to the blackjack table when you join. Blackjack right?

But what if all 9s and 10s have been removed from the shoe? And, rather than just having the opportunity to double down, you can triple down or quadruple down?

Alternatively, what if you get a free (house funded) double down or split bet in certain circumstances but the dealer doesn’t bust on 22?

Are we still playing blackjack under these scenarios? Some might say yes. I suspect the blackjack purists would give a resounding no!
