Super Boost Blackjack VIP Live from StakeLogic

Super Boost Blackjack VIP was launched by StakeLogic in October 2024. It introduces the Super Boost payout of up to 100x for a third consecutive win on the main game.

StakeLogic are fast developing a reputation for coming up with novel live blackjack game concepts. Super Boost Blackjack joins their Super Stake Blackjack tables as well as 8 seat live blackjack. Curiously, they’ve decided to persist with an 8th seat on the Super Boost table.

Super Boost Blackjack is live at most casinos carrying StakeLogic’s live tables. Our favourites include Leo Vegas and BetVictor.

What is Super Boost Blackjack?

At its core, this is game of live blackjack, with the same ruleset on the main game as StakeLogic’s regular live blackjack tables (summary below).

There are 2 key differences however:

  1. If you win a third consecutive hand, in addition to the regular win payout, you will receive a Super Boost payout. The Super Boost payout can be anywhere from 2x up to 100x your bet.
  2. A mandatory 25% fee is charged on every main game bet. A $20 bet (the seat minimum) will cost you $25, with $5 going to the house and not figuring in any win payouts.

Super Boost Blackjack

The game employs the same blackjack ruleset used on StakeLogic’s regular live blackjack tables.

  • Dealt from an 8-deck shoe (manually shuffled, cut card inserted approximately mid-shoe)
  • It’s a ‘US Style deal’, ie the Dealer draws 1 card face up, 1 card face down on initial deal
  • Blackjack pays 3:2, regular wins 1:1 (with exception of Super Boost wins)
  • Dealer stands all 17s
  • Double allowed on any 2 initial cards, drawing 1 additional card
  • No Double after split
  • Player can Split any 2 cards of equal value
  • No re-splits
  • Single card drawn to split Aces
  • Insurance offered (pays 2:1)
  • Side bets are offered

How the Super Boost Multiplier Works

On your second consecutive win, you’ll be notified that a, ‘Multiplier will be awarded in the next round‘.

Super Boost Blackjack 2nd win

Your consecutive win progress is also tracked by the Super Boost bar below your chip. On a Super Boost round, following consecutive win number 2, the bar becomes full as below.

At the beginning of this round, you’re also shown the value of the Super Boost multiplier that will apply to a win – x3 in the example round. It an be anywhere from x2 up to x100.

A win on the third consecutive round pays:

  • regular win payout (1:1 or 3:2 for BJ), in this case $20, plus
  • Super Boost payout, in this case 3 x $20 = $60
  • for a total $80 win, or $100 return.

The Super Boost multiplier will only be applied to the initial bet amount. Additional chips from Doubled or Split decisions are not multiplied.

A losing round will reset your Super Boost bar and your quest for 3 wins in a row begins again.  The bar also resets after a win. In the event of a Push, your progress remains unchanged (ie, next round Super Boost will apply again).

Super Boost Blackjack side bets

You can also take either of 2 optional side-bets.

The 3 side-bet pays on combinations of your initial cards and the dealer’s up-card. Suited Trips is the top payout at 100:1. The RTP (return to player) on this bet is 96.30%.

Golden Pairs pays on drawing a pair on your initial cards. Golden Pair (exact match) is the top payout at 25:1. RTP on this bet is a lowly 95.90%.

Needless to say both should be avoided.

Super Boost Blackjack Strategy and Return to Player

Strategy number 1: Forget about the side bets and play the main game only.

Strategy number 2: Bearing in mind the main game is simply blackjack, with the possibility of occasionally boosted payouts, playing basic strategy will be key. Here’s the basic strategy card for this blackjack ruleset.

Strategy number 3: Bankroll management. While the RTP on this game is a healthy 99.45%, the introduction of the 25% mandatory fee on every bet and a Super Boost payout only very occasionally, makes its short term volatility considerably higher than regular blackjack. Without a sufficient bankroll you may find yourself out of cash well before collecting any much needed boosted wins.

Considering the probability of winning a hand of blackjack is around 42%, the probability of winning a third consecutive hand is (0.42)3 = 0.074, or 1 in 13.5. Expressed another way, over the longer term it should take you on average just over 13 rounds for each 3-peat.

Over the longer term, boosted wins will come and only then do you get some value for your 25% mandatory fee. Only then will your actual RTP approach the 99.45% published number (assuming you’re playing optimally).

In a short session with a little bad luck boosted wins could well elude you.
