Ultimate Andar Bahar from Ezugi

This is Ultimate Andar Bahar from Ezugi.

It joins their growing family of Ultimate games, all of which add random multipliers to the action. Ultimate Roulette and Ultimate Sicbo have been running for some time. It also joins parent company Evolution’s Super Andar Bahar which also adds multipliers to the game of Andar Bahar.

Ultimate Andar Bahar is up and running at casinos carrying Ezugi’s live games, including Dafabet and Leo Vegas.

What is Ultimate Andar Bahar?

First a quick recap on Andar Bahar, which is a very simple game and works as follows

  1. Dealer reveals a Main or Joker Card during betting time (Kblank in above example)
  2. The main bet is on Andar (1:1) or Bahar (0.9:1).
  3. Cards are dealt in turn to the Andar and Bahar positions, starting with Andar.
  4. First side to be dealt a card matching the Joker (suits don’t matter) wins.

A common Andar Bahar side bet is also the ‘number of cards dealt’ until there is a match.

In the example round below, the Bahar bet wins when the first King is dealt to Bahar. As 11 cards were dealt (not including the Joker) the 11-15 cards dealt bracket would have also collected.

The Ultimate bit – payout multipliers

Ultimate Andar Bahar applies random multipliers to both the main Andar/Bahar bets, and the cards dealt side bet (Evolution’s Super Andar Bahar only applies multipliers to the side bet).

Cards dealt side bet multipliers

After bets close side bets are randomly awarded multipliers of 2x, 3x or 5x.

In this round:

  • 6-10 cards dealt payout is multiplied 2x, and increases from 3:1 to 6:1
  • 31-35 cards dealt payout is multiplied 3x, and increases from 20:1 to 60:1

Andar/Bahar bet multipliers

Then, 1 to 5 Ultimate cards are selected and each assigned a multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x. If any of these cards are dealt to either the Andar or Bahar positions before the matching card comes out, the payout is multiplied accordingly.

In the bellow example round Kblank (3x) and Kblank (2x) are the ultimate cards.

When Kblank is dealt to the Bahar position, the payout is multiplied 2x and increases from 0.9:1 to 1.8:1.

Theoretical returns and optimal playing strategy

As there are no decisions to be made in this game other than which bets to choose,  optimal playing strategy should simply come down to a consideration of return to player (RTP) rates by bet type.

Here they are.

blank

Couple of takeaways from this. First, stick with bets on Andar or Bahar.

Second the addition of multipliers to the main bet hasn’t crimped it’s RTP too much. By comparison, the Andar bet on Playtech (and Ezugi’s) non-multiplied Andar Bahar tables returns 97.85%.
